Templates
After creating a template containing various fields/cells for users to fill in, as well as cells that users cannot alter, how can I transfer the template to other formats e.g. Word, PDF, online submission? The intention is to provide an alternative format that contains all capabilities and limitations of the original template in Excel.

You can not transfer the template to word, you would need to recreate it manually. This means it will look much better in word. Once you have done the word version you can convert a word doc into PDF and the format will work as a static template, but you will not be able to edit PDFs without an editor program installed. For a proper web format it would also be better to code a web form from scratch or simply provide a link to the excel/word document.
