Can I get pop-ups with Access so that reminders come up when something needs doing? e.g. if the date of someone's contract is coming to an end and will soon need renewing.

RE: Pop ups

Dear Katy

Thank you for attending Access Introduction Course !! I hope you enjoyed the course and benefited from it.

This is possible with the help of conditional Macros.

If you want me to provide you with step by step instruction how to do this then I should be able to do that but I personally recommend you to attend the Intermediate and Advanced course which should be able to answer most of your questions.

Instead of me explaining the Macros in this post I would recommend you to attend our Advanced course where we cover creating message boxes with the help of Macros and putting certain conditions.

Following are the course topics as well as schedule for the Intermediate and advanced courses:

I hope this has answered your query.

If this has answered your query then I would request you to please mark the question as resolved!! If not and you have a specific question related to this then please post it as a new question and we should be able to provide you the solution for it!!

Kindest Regards

Access tip:

Hiding Multiple Table columns

If you want to hide non-adjacent Access table columns. In Datasheet view, open the table that contains the columns you want to hide.

On the Format menu, click Unhide Columns.
In the Unhide Columns dialog box, clear the check box next to the name of each column you want to hide.
Click Close.

This method makes having to use the Hide Columns command repeatedly unnecessary
