How do you format cells from the row above without copying the data in the cell?

Hi Jessica

Click on the row header of the row that has the formatting you want.

This will highlight the entire row.

Then click on the button that looks like a paintbrush. It's called 'format painter'

Then click on the new row header that you want to copy the formating to.

This will copy formating only and not data.

If you wish to do this on multiple cells you can double click the format painter. It will then apply the formatting until you right click or hit escape.

1) Go to the bottom of the column of data.

2) Shortcut click in the column then Ctrl + down arrow

3) Use Alt + = for Autosum and press the enter key to complete.
