Comparing spreadsheets

How to identify discrepencies between two different spreadsheets

RE: comparing spreadsheets

Hello Amanda

Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum.

There is a feature called Compare and Merge in Excel, which you can use to compare one spreadsheet against another. In order for this to work though, you need to make the workbook shared first (Tools - Share Workbook, then tick the Allow changes by more than one user box).

The Compare and Merge feature is designed to be used so that if you have multiple copies of the same workbook, you can compare one workbook against another and then decide how you want to merge data from one workbook into another.

I hope this helps.

Removing the Ribbon from view in Excel 2010

At times when you want to view the whole spreadsheet, try double clicking on the ''Home'' tab on the ribbon which will hide the ribbon from view.
