To import data follow these steps:

File, Get External Data and choose Import. Change the File Type from Access to Excel and select the Excel file. Then follow the steps of the Import Wizard.

To export the data to Excel or Word follow these steps:

Select the Table or Query and go to Tools and Office Links and choose the appropriate option.
