AutoFill Using Shortcut keys

I have made a note from my training that Crtrl + Enter performs the autofill function without copying cell formatting, but I can't get it to work. Have I noted it down incorrectly?

RE: AutoFill Using Shortcut keys

Hi Debbie

The Ctrl+Enter shortcut performs an autofill function as explained below:

1. Highlight the area which is to receive the data.

NB. After highlighting the area don't click anywhere on the spreadsheet

2. Type the data that you want to appear in the selected cells (e.g. "March"). You will notice that the text you write appears in the "white" cell of the selected area

3. On the keyboard press Ctrl+Enter

4. The text you typed is copied to all selected cells

Hope this helps

Carlos
