Thunderbird and Access

Does anyone know a way to export email from Thunderbird into an MS Access database?

Thanks.

RE: Thunderbird and Access

Hi Sammie

Thanks for your question. It would depend on Thunderbird being able to either export data in a format that Access could import or Thunderbird being able to act as a data source for an Access database.

Unfortunately Thunderbird is not one of the applications we deliver training on but there are some things you could try.

Two ways to check this would be in Access going to File > Open and check the file formats that Access supports. Then check to see if you can export in one of those formats from Thunderbird.

Likewise if you create a new blank database go to the file menu and choose get external data and again see what formats Access is able to connect to then check if Thunderbird supports that format.

Hope this helps - do let us know if you have any further questions.

Kind regards,

Andrew

If you have created a form / switchboard and dont want people to get away from using the switchboard, you can change the form properites for Modal to On.
