Customizing

Please can I have a little more information on customizing and on absolute cells and linking formulars. Thanks

RE: Customizing

Hi Nicole

How are you doing, im so sorry i haven't got back to you sooner as i have been so busy

As for your question the absolute cell references have to functions, which are the dollar signs mean remember and follow

so that means if you move the cell to another location excel will always locate this so that your formulas will still work

the other element about dollar signs is you can use the F4 function key to insert them and the more times you press the F4 button you can move the position of the dollar signs

Hope this helps

Please feel free to reply to this post, or mark this resolved, or email me back

Excel tip:

Line breaks in a cell

You can control the line breaks for multiple-line headings or labels in your Microsoft Excel worksheet, just like you do in Microsoft Word. Here's how to do it.

Click the cell where you want the label or heading to appear.
Type the first line of information.
Press ALT+ENTER.
