Entering Resources

Can I enter a percentage value against resource's task proficency?

RE: Entering Resources

Hi Jason

Thank you for your question

The simplest approach is to create a custom number field.

1. Click on Tools-Customise-Fields
2. In the field type dialog select Number
3. Select Number1 on the list and click rename
4. Rename the column something like "Task Proficiency %"
5. Click OK

You have now created your custom field. You now need to insert it into the resource sheet.

1. Open your resource sheet
2. Right click on a column head where you want your new column to go
3. Select Insert from the context menu
4. In the field dialog select "Task Proficiency % (Number 1)"

You can now enter proficiency ratings for each resource. It seems likely that you will want proficiency ratings for different types of task. There are 20 number fields, so you can repeat the process using number 2 through to number 20 for your different task types

Hope this is useful. If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to get back to me

Regards

Stephen
