Can I set macros to specific text in a template or form?

RE: Microsoft Word

Hi Sabrina,

You can record a macro to run any physical action that you might ordinarily carry out yourself in Word. So Yes you are able to record a macro to input specific text, and you can then have this macro saved within a particular template, such as a form - so that it only runs within that document rather than being available to every document within Word.

The easiest thing to do is next time you are running through your inputting, or creation process, to record the macro at the same time so that it is ready for you to run the next time you need to update the document.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards

Carmen

Side by side comparison in Word

By using the Compare Side by Side feature in Word, you can compare the content of two documents easily.

Here's how:

1. Open the two documents you wish to compare.

2. Go to Window - Compare Side by Side.

This will allow you to see both documents on your screen and scroll both simultaneously.
