The Excel Training Courses

Hi,

I'm thinking of doing all three of your excel training courses from beginners to advanced. Would I be able to take (and pass) a MOS exam after attending all three of your courses?

RE: The Excel Training Courses

You would certainly have covered the core material required for the MOS test. It is always a good idea to practise what you have learned and then make sure you can answer detailed questions listed here:

RE: The Excel Training Courses

Hi Dorian

Thanks for your question.

The content of our Excel courses would certainly help you to prepare for the Excel MOS exam. What I would suggest is checking the objectives for the Excel MOS exam on the Microsoft website (www.microsoft.com) and comparing the objectives against what we offer on our courses to see how many of the exam features are actually covered.

We do run MOS tests at our training centre based in Tooting, however these are booked and paid for separately from the courses themselves. The following page on our website provides more information about MOS exams:

If you have any further questions regarding MOS exams or courses, please contact us.

thanks
Amanda

Excel tip:

Convert a column into row quickly in Excel 2010

Occasionally you might enter data into Excel vertically and then when you finish realize that actually it would look more clearer if it was represented in a horizontal format. If you follow these simple steps below, you can quickly change the data from going vertically to horizontally and vice versa.

First, select the column you want to convert into a row or a row into a column. Then right click and select Copy. Go to the sheet where you want to past this row as a column and select “Paste Special”. Remember to check the check-box “Transpose” and select “OK”.
