how to crosstab

RE: queries

Hi Otis, Thank you for the post, welcome to the forum, in answer to your question, creating a crosstab query which is a summarisation of your data, the easiest and most straightforward way to do this is to follow the Crosstab query wizard which you can invoke by going to the Queries objects click on New and select Crosstab query wizard, follow the steps to create your query. I look forward to seeing you on the forum in future, best regards Pete.

Access tip:

Hide Access Tables

One method of stopping your Access tables appearing in Database window, is to rename the table(s) with the prefix usys.

This converts the table into a system object, which cannot be viewed in the Database window.

You can show system objects in the Database window by the following:

Step 1: On the Tools menu, click Options.
Step 2: Click the View tab.
Under Show, select the System Objects check box.
Click OK.
