Field Headers

Access is not keen on dates as field headers - is there a way round this to keep date fields in the correct formats?

RE: Field Headers

Hi Jody, Thank you for your post, in response to your question, I have racked my brain and also gone through many reference books but I cannot find a way that you can use dates effectively as field headers the only thing I can suggest is that you use a text field and have your dates as text rather than as a date field, how useful this would be in your case I dont really know. Sorry cant be more helpful, best regards Pete.

Access tip:

Create An Inaccessible Field On A Form

There is sometimes a need to make a field in a form look like a normal field but be completely inaccessible to the user. To do this:

In the Field's Properties
Set the ENABLED property to No
Set the LOCKED property to Yes

The field will not grey out, but the user will not be able to do anything with it.
