For this course- it might be interesting to break the course into two half days. Could provide a few 'homework' examples to go away with and then review them the next day. Or provide a few takeaway skill tests (with answer keys provided) at the end of the course to check that you know what doing in terms of formulas etc and get some practice. As Jens said- need to use and practice what we've learned in the next 2 weeks or it won't stick!"
