Is it possible to make a watermark in excel?

Thank you for attending Excel intermediate course with us.

Yes, it is possible to have watermark (known as Washout in Excel 2003).

If you want to have the washout in your worksheet and not as a header and footer then please carry out these steps:

Step 1. From the Menu bar choose [b]Insert > Picture> from file

Excel tip:

Validating text entries

1. Select the range of cells.
2. From the Data menu, select Validation.
3. Select the Settings tab.
4. From the Allow dropdown list, select Custom.
5. In the Formula box, enter the following formula:

=IsText (A1)

where A1 is the first cell in the range.
6. Click OK.
