Macros

I would like to produce a cell with a drop down arrow and the options within that cell be.... low, medium and high, but cant seem to do it.

I was wondering if someone could help me please?

Thanks

RE: macros

Hi Reyno

You can set up a dropdown list of cell entries using data validation.

Select the cell or cells you wish to have the dropdown arrow appear in.

Go to Data - Validation on the menu bar.

Under Allow: select List.

In the Source: box, type in the list with commas between each item. In this case you would type Low, Medium, High

Click OK. The dropdown arrows should appear when you click on any cell you had selected before setting up the list.

I hope this answers your question - if not please post again and we will be happy to have another go in assisting you.

Amanda

Excel tip:

Difference between Two Dates

The DATEDIF function computes the difference between two dates. The DATEDIF function is as follows:

=DATEDIF (Date1,Date2,Interval)

Please note that Date1 must be less than (earlier) or equal to Date2

Please note that Interval must be one of the following codes: "d" (in days), "m" (in months), "y" (in years) expressed in quotes
