Entries in red it means the resource is over worked basically, you have the resource probably doing more work than they have capability to do so on a give date, check out the Resource usage sheeet and the Resource Graph view.

Have you tried Tools- Level resourcing?

I suggest you save your file as a different name prior to doing this as it can have some un anticiapted results.
