Footmotes in word

how do I amend a footnote and if a do not want one how do I get rid of it completely?

RE: footmotes in word

Hi Karen, Thank you for your post, To answer your question;
1. To amend the footnote, select the text at the foot of the page and type your new text.
2. To delete the footnote, find the indicator next to the text the footnote relates to and delete the indicator. Your footnote will disappear from the foot of the page.
I hope that helps, best regards Pete.
