Does word have a dictionary application

RE: Dictionary

Hi Miles,

Word does not come with an offline dictionary but you can use one of the following tools to access its online reference tools:

1) Tools menu > Research > type search text > Click on drop down menu to select ENCARTA DICTIONARY > press enter

2) Tools menu > Language > Thesaurus (available offline too)
to find synonyms and antonyms

3) Tools menu > Language > Translate
to translate your selected word into other languages

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Katie
