Access forms

How do you show tabs across a main form(not controls) to access sub forms from the main form

RE: Access forms

Hi Angie, Thank you for your post, on considering your post I can only work out that you require command buttons on your form to enable you to open other forms, if this is not the case please feel free to respond. In order to create a command button on a form in Access, you open the Form in Design view, ensure the toolbox is selected and visible. On the toolbox you will see an icon which represents the Command Button, a tooltip will confirm this. Click on this icon and in your form drag to draw a rectangle, follow the instructions to select the form you wish to display, whether you require a graphic or text on your button. Change to Form view and test your button. To create additional buttons you will need to follow the steps again. I hope that helps, best regards Pete.

Access tip:

Remove spaces in a table

If you have a table that has too many space marks littered around, you can create a update query and use the trim function to get rid of any excess space marks
