Access Query - Recordset is not updatable

Hi

I've made a new query from a variety of tables, but I cannot enter data in the query. When trying, it reads in the comment box left corner that the "Recordset is not updatable".

The relationships seem all right. Could you pelase advise?

Thanks

Adrienne

RE: Access Query - Recordset is not updatable

Please ignore this request! I've found out what I did wrong. I'm afraid that although I said that the relationships seemed all right, they were not. I accidently had selected the same table twice. By removing one it allowed me to enter data again.

Regards

Adrienne

Access tip:

Prefixed Autonumbering

When using Date Type = Autonumber as a primary key, clients may require autonumbering to be prefixed with a letter.

For example, P001, where P is the prefixed letter

Instructions
Step 1. Create Field Name
Step 2. Set Data Type to Autonumber
Step 3. Within Field Property General tabsheet,
enter Format property as [backslash]P000
