Formatting numbers

I am having trouble formatting numbers. WHen i am in design value in tables, and i choose percentage as the format, it doesn't format properly. For example if i insert 59%, it comes out as 100%. If i insert 0.59 it comes out as 0. Please help. thanks

RE: formatting numbers

Hi Sabine,

Thanks for your question.

In the Table Design View:
1) set field as Number
2) in field properties, set field size as either SINGLE/DOUBLE
3) in field properties, set format as PERCENT

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Katie
