How can I link from Powerpoint from an Excel Spreadsheet?

RE: Excel from Powerpoint

Hi Damon, Thanks for the post, I am assuming that you wish to place a link into your PowerPoint presentation that will display an Excel spreadsheet and give the latest update when you open the presentation. Follow these steps:
Menu command Insert, Object. In the dialog box choose Create from file, and press Browse button. Navigate to your chosen Excel Spreadsheet, click OK, and then click the "Link" check box to create your link. To edit the Spreadsheet double click on it to open the link. If changes are made in the spreadsheet you will notice the changes immediately if both are open, if they are not both open when you open PowerPoint presentation you will be asked if you wish to update the spreadsheet.

Excel tip:

Difference between Two Dates

The DATEDIF function computes the difference between two dates. The DATEDIF function is as follows:

=DATEDIF (Date1,Date2,Interval)

Please note that Date1 must be less than (earlier) or equal to Date2

Please note that Interval must be one of the following codes: "d" (in days), "m" (in months), "y" (in years) expressed in quotes
