How can I check that my formulas are protected ?

RE: Security

Hi Elaine

first of all, check your whole worksheet is protected by hitting tools > Protection and depending on whether it says 'protect sheet' or 'unprotect sheet' you'll know

then, click on the cell that has the formula you want protecting and click format > cells.

click the protection tab at the top of the box you can now see and ensure 'protected' is checked.

that cell is protected, so you can go out of that box and now try typing something into that cell, Excel won't allow it

Hope this helps

Paul

To select two or more adjacent worksheets, click on the tab of the first worksheet and then on the tab of the last worksheet, while holding down the [SHIFT] key.
Enter or modify your data and apply the necessary formatting options to the sheet that's displayed
