How do you create a new style based on heading 1?

RE: Styles

Hi Janice,

Thank you for your question.

To set up a new style base on Heading 1:
1) In MS Word, open Format Menu -> Style and Formatting
2) Click on New Style button
3) Type in new style name
4) Select "Heading1" in the drop-down box of "Style based on"
5) Set your formatting
6) click OK

Hope this helps.

Katie
