How do you import an excel worksheet into a powerpoint presentation?

Either you can copy and paste a select from Excel directly into access, or you can use the INSERT > OBJECT method to select an excel speadsheet and insert into the presentation.
The first method above will create a static copy (does not update if you change the orginal). The second method will update the image is the orginal file is modified.
