Add Picture to form

How do you add a picture to the form background and make it transparent.

RE: Add Picture to form

Hi Dan

Thanks for your question.

You would need to manipulate the image first before you put it into the background. You could try doing this in PowerPoint (insert the picture then right-click and choose Format Picture then change the Image Control to grayscale or washout) then you can right-click on the altered picture and save it as an image file. Then insert it into your form.

RE: Add Picture to form

ok, thanks Amanda for your help.

RE: Add Picture to form

I have tried this but you cannot still see the picture - what I require is to be able to insert a backgroud picture into the form with still being able to see the format of the form.

Currenty using the greyscale and image file I see no picture.

If I insert a normal JPEG then it blocks out the text and form boxes.

thanks

RE: Add Picture to form

Hi Dan

You would still need to find some way of changing the image to make it light enough/transparent before inserting it into the form background - you can't make it transparent once it has been inserted.

If you have PhotoShop you would be able to do this.

Access tip:

Convert A Form Into A Report

If there is a form that you want to to save as a report:

1. Open that form in Design View
2. Select File and Save As
3. In the Save As Dialog box Select Report

The system creates a report based on the form.
