Cost forecast by month

I am trying to create a cost forecast by month. I have a day rate per person, % allocation and an end date and looking to create a forecast by month. I have imported the dataset as well as a calendar in the format I require but struggling with the next steps, e.g. unable to find the relationship between the 2 datasets.

RE: Cost forecast by month

Hi Laura,

Thankyou for your question to the forum.

In answer to your question, you will need to ensure that your calendar table has a unique list of dates that includes the date range to be analysed in your other dataset. Then you need to create the relationship between both tables using the date fields as the common field. To do this follow the link below:

Once you've done this, you can continue doing your forecast analysis

Hope this helps

Kind regards
Martin
