I didn't quite get the last bit about how to add the marketing trendline to the chart. Could I get a quick reminder on how to do that? Thanks!

Hi Caroline,

Thank you for the forum question.

In the example where we wanted to see the correlation between the marketing percentage and the sales, we worked with 2 value axes. One to the left (the primary) and one to the right (the secondary).

We used the primary to plot the sales and the secondary to plot the percentage.

This is a good method to make comparisons or if we work with values which are far from each other.

Page Break Preview in Excel 2010 (Hint/tip)

If you select View then Workbook Views then Page Break Preview, you will be able to view how your Excel spreadsheet will be split across multiple pages when printed. Even better, you can also drag a page break to a new place. Excel will then scale down your entire worksheet to fit the information you want on the pages you want.
