Removing the totals on a chart before moving

Due to technical issues I couldn't see how to remove the totals at the bottom of the chart before you move it into a dashboard. I was going to check online later but it would help if there was a quick note.

RE: Removing the totals on a chart before moving

Hi Erica,

I am sorry that you missed this.

I assume you missed the step for the bar chart with agent data. What I did was:

I clicked on the names of the agents left side of the bar chart.
Then I clicked the chart format tab on the ribbon and in the Current Selection group, I clicked Format Selection.
In the Format Axis pane I clicked Categorise in Reverse order. This moves the values from the bottom and the agent will be listed in the same order as on the dashboard.

Kind regards

Excel tip:

Fill formulae across a sheet

To copy a formula down a spreadsheet where there is data underneath, to the left or to the right of the formula, double-click on the fill handle. The fill handle is the little black cross that appears in the bottom right-hand corner of the formula cell. Unfortunately, no similar facility exists to copy formulae across the sheet.

One reasonably quick way to copy an existing formula across a sheet is to select the formula and the cells on the right to which you want to copy it. Then press Ctrl+R to copy the formula across the selected range, or, if you are menu-minded, use the Edit|Fill|Right command.
