Pivot Table - Date Order

I've created a pivot table however, when I have dates as a column, it is not showing in actual date order - the data seems to be "losing" the year and it simply orders it by month Jan-Dec. However some of the data is, for example, December 2022 but it is showing it almost as December 2023 (as the last month in the table).
Is there a setting somewhere for this?
My table showed it correctly yesterday but not today???

RE: Pivot Table - Date Order

Hello Alan,

Thank you for your question. The first thing you can try is once you have brought the dates into the pivot table, in the Analyse tab, select Ungroup in the Group section. Then select Group Field and select Year and Month. Hopefully, this will group your dates by year and then by month.

If this doesn't work for you, please post in the forum again so that we can find a different solution.

P.s. please make sure that your dates are entered correctly, e.g. 21/01/2022.

Kind regards
