Finding a batch of numbers from one file on another without sear
Hi. I have 2 excel files. One with 4500 lines and the other is 225 lines. The 225 lines has a long number which i need to match and colour red on the large 4500 file. I can obvioulsy filter one by one and search but i was hoping there is a way to do it in 1 go?

Hi Daniel,
Thank you for the forum Question.
If you have a high level of VBA knowledge you can write VBA code, which can do what you want, otherwise you will need to copy the 225 lines and paste them in the same worksheet as the 4500 lines.
Select the long number column you want to pair in both lists. On the Home tab click conditional formatting -> Highlight Cell Rules -> Duplicate Values
Kind regards
