Macro/VBA

I am currently working on a project which involves forming a large table full of different datasets, including information regarding respective release dates. In order to improve the simple table I have done so far, I was hoping to create something which upon the press of a button or entry of a value in a cell (corresponding to a specific dataset), would automatically send a e-mail to specific email addresses, depending on whether the subscribed dataset has a due date of less than 7 days.

Could you please let me know if this is feasible? And if so, what the macro would potentially need to look like?

Thank you for your help in advance.

RE: Macro/VBA

Hi Shanay,

Thank you for the forum question.

Yes it can be done, but you will need very advanced VBA knowledge.

We are connecting to datasets in databases, and sending emails on our Excel advanced VBA course.

To do what you want you will need Outlook VBA, if the datasets are in some kind of database you will need the language ADO and SQL.

The code will not be a generic code. The code will have to be specific tailored to your needs.

It is not inside the scoop of this forum to develop codes for our clients, but I will be happy to help you with your questions along the way.

Kind regards
