Advertising vacancies for diverse audiences

Are there any tips for reaching diverse audiences, in particular BAME audiences via job adverts? Any places or ways of writing adverts etc? Thanks

RE: Advertising vacancies for diverse audiences

Hi Sian

Sorry for the delay, as mentioned during the training session I reached out to my recruitment contacts and they got back with the following advice:-

1: Advertise in BME targeted LinkedIn groups.
2: Have an Employee page on website and ensure there are stories from people who look like me.
3: Hold diversity training sessions regularly at work so it's clear to staff it's important and have an email/inbox where people can send in complaints and/or ideas.
4: Remove educational requirements from JD if non essential.

Let me know how you get on with the above.

All the best.

Management Training tip:

Task List or To Do List

Don't confuse yourself with too many tasks on a to do list. The Task List is all the things that require attention, whether by you or others, now or later. The To Do list is your immediate daily plan, and is a subset of your Task List.

Keep your To Do list to no more than 5 major items.
