When I type in the date 1/1/2018 it automatically changes it 'jan-18' how do I change this to the date I have typed?

Hi Natalie,
Thank you for the forum question.
Select the date and on the Home tab in the Number group select Short Date from the list (click the down arrow in the Number group).
