Hi Linda,
Thank you for the forum question.
Create a normal Excel workbook. Add everything you want in the template. When you have finished it click the File tab in the ribbon and click Save As.
Click Browse and in the Save As dialog box change Save as type to Excel Template. Do not change it to another folder. Just give the template a name and click Save.
