Pivot tables

Can I do lookups to data in 2 different pivot tables?

RE: Pivot tables

Hi Caroline,

Thank you for the forum question.

You can lookup data in two PivotTables.

=VLOOKUP(value,IF(test,table1,table2),col,match)

You can nest a If function in the Table_Array argument in the Vlookup. If something is true the Vlookup will return the information from the first PivotTable, if not from the second PivotTable.

I hope this can help you.

Kind regards

Excel tip:

Remove unused toolbar buttons

Are there buttons on your Excel toolbars that you never use? Remove them from the toolbar by doing the following:

1. Go to Tools - Customise - Commands.
2. Select the toolbar button you wish to remove, then use your mouse to drag and drop the button into the Excel window. When you release your finger from the mouse, the button will disappear.
