Tahir has attended:
Excel Intermediate course
IF nested excercise
Wished trainer could have spent more time on IF nested function but due to time constraint - it wasn't possible.
RE: IF nested excercise
Hi Tahir,
Thank you for the forum question.
The If function is a very useful and powerful Excel function.
We can work with any number of tests by nesting other functions in the logical_test of the If function. I can see that you have done our Excel Intermediate and normally we do not have nested Ifs on this course. We have nested Ifs and other options with logical tests on our advanced Excel course.
Good luck with your If functions and hope to see you on our Excel Advanced course.
Kind regards

Excel tip:Counting Non Number Cells (Text)If you try to use the COUNT FUNCTION =COUNT(Cell range)with a range of cells with numbers and or containing text fields you wil find that that the text cells will be excluded from the the count. If you want to include them try the the COUNTA FUNCTION =COUNTA(Cell range). This counts both text and number cell values. |
