Pasting into filtered data

When I filter data in a column and then want to replace the filtered values by another value, the new value seems to be copied across the whole column rather than just selected (filtered)cells. i.e. I filter for zeros in a colum and replace them with 'non applicable', it places 'non applicable' to all cells, not only the cells with zero values. Any advice?

RE: Pasting into filtered data

Hi Marianna

Thanks for your forum question.

Please can I check how you replace the filtered data?
If you type N/A over the first 0 then Autofill down it works. But if you copy and paste data on top of the filtered data it doesn't.

A second way is to highlight all the filtered 0's, type N/A and press Control + Enter.

please let me know if that helps.
