I am having difficulty with data validation. I have created a drop down list but the font is incredibly small when I click in the list. This isn't happening with all of the validation on the spread sheet, it just starts to happen occasionally and then can't be undone. I can't seem to find any formatting that would be causing this to happen. When an item is selected from the list, it appears a normal size in the cell.
The list in question this time is only 7 or 8 lines long.
Is there something we can do about this?

Hi Kayley
Yes, Data Validation lists can be hard to read especially if the spreadsheet zoom setting is below 100%. Try changing to 150% zoom and see if it helps.
Can I just check if the data validation is just for one cell or for a whole columnof data? If for one cell there is an alternative way of creating a combo box instead. I can take you through the steps if you want this.

that's great- I've zoomed in and it's much better.
The validation is to an entire column so I think I a combo box wouldn't work.
