Outlook

Anyone know how to write a macro for excel that will work with outlook to populate a meeting request, subject line & all for a day or date range within the data?

RE: Outlook

Hi Amanda,

Thank you for the forum question.

To control Outlook from Excel you need to reference the Outlook object library. You will need to work with Object variables and more.

I have added a couple of links below with some examples but may I suggest that you do our Intermediate Course and then our advance VBA course. On our advanced VBA course we are controlling Outlook from Excel using the reference library.

Excel tip:

Change Excel's default font

You can change the default font and font size for all spreadsheets created in Excel by:

1. Going to Tools on the menu bar.
2. Select Options, then General.
3. Next to Standard Font you can change the font and font size.
4. Click OK.

Each new file you start from this point onward should use the font and font size you have selected.
