Sparkline

Hello,

I have added series of sparklines onto my spreadsheet, when i close the document it says it isnt compatiable. This didnt happen prior to me adding the sparklines

I then came out of the excel document and the sparklines had disappeared.

Is there another format I should be saving this in?

Thank you

Reygan

RE: Sparkline

Hi Reygan,

Thank you for the forum question.

Sparklines are new in Excel 2010 and the Excel workbook must be saved with the extension xlsx or xlsm if you want to keep the sparklines. With other words you cannot save sparklines with the "old" Excel extension xls.

If this is not the problem please let me know.

Excel tip:

New to Excel 2010 - Sparklines!

Excel 2010 includes a new feature called Sparklines which are tiny charts that fit into a single cell and plot data in cells from the worksheet. There are a host of formatting and styles that can be applied to them and they are really quite interesting.

>insert
>sparklines
>Choose any style you want

You will be asked for the range and it will automatically select the cell your in to insert the sparklines.
