Dashboards

How do I create a summary worksheet that displays a dashboard of summarised data from other worksheets in the same book or from several workbooks?

RE: Dashboards

Hi Juliana,

Thank you for the forum question.

You have a lot of tools in Excel to create dashboards. One of them is the pivot table tool. You can use the form tools in combination with a number of Excel functions such as Vlookup, Hlookup, Index, Match, Choose and many more.

How you should create your dashboards is a question about how you have your source data, how you want to present them and your Excel knowledge.

I have attached some examples from Best STL's dashboard course. I will suggest that you have a look at the examples.

I can recommend that you have our Excel Dashboard course.

Kind regards

Excel tip:

Multiple Lines of Text in a Cell

As an alternative to the Text Wrapping facility, type a word or two, press Alt+Enter to get a new line, type more text, and continue the process for as many lines as you need. Enter as normal when you have finished.

The line break is not affected by changing the column width, as text wrapping. To remove this you must edit the cell and remove the invisible character and replace with a normal space.
