Pivot tables

Are pivot tables the same as charts?

RE: Pivot tables

Hello Nikki, thank you for your post, I look forward to seeing you on one of our courses some day, Pivot tables are not like charts, but you can create a Pivot Chart which is based on a Pivot Table in the same way that a normal chart is based on a Table of data. Pivot tables are a method of summarising large amounts of data, and then being able to change or pivot the view by moving field headings to different positions within the Pivot table.

Excel tip:

Moving between Worksheets without using the mouse

Use the 'Ctrl+PgDn' and 'Ctrl+PgUp' keys.

'Ctrl+PgDn' will move to the right and 'Ctrl+PgUp' will move to the left one worksheet at a time.
