Linking task list to Outlook without delete capabilities

Hi,

I would quite like the capability of letting the users on SharePoint export their tasks to Outlook so they can see them in their calendar but set it so that if they delete something from Outlook it remains in SharePoint. I know this could then cause issues if they wanted to, for example, update their tasks in Outlook and have it reflected in SharePoint. Is there a way to sever the link but only when it's in regards to deleting? Or is there any easy way to un-link them to outlook and it just be a matter of proper training?

Also, is it possible to link just a users' tasks to their outlook using a view (perhaps with [Me] so it can be generic)?

Many thanks,

Dean
