Is there a quicker way to format american number ( quicker than one below)
1.235,25 into normal 1,235.25
You can do a find and replace all to manage it.
1) find the dot and replace all with nothing
2) find the comma and replace all with the dot
Be aware that it will find all commas and dots in other areas of the page you are working on.

Thanks for getting in touch. To fix this depends on a few settings. First click on a cell that contains the problem numbers. Then right-click and choose Format Cells.
On the Number tab, what option is selected? If it's Custom, what is in the Type box?
