I have a document which when I scroll through shows full written pages but when I activate print preview the document shows a secret blank page which I cannot access or delete! Help

RE: Word

Hi Julia

Thank you for your question. It could be that there is a section break in your document. To check scroll through the page preceding the secret blank page then from the Home Ribbon click on the show/hide button. It's the symbol that looks like a reversed letter P. You can also trigger this by the keyboard shortcut CTRL and Asterisk)

take a look just before the phantom page. There may be a line that looks similar to

======Section Break (Next Page)========

If there is then save your file as a backup copy and try deleting it to see if it fixes the problem.

When you are finished you can switch of show / hide.

let me know how you get on.

Kind regards,
Andrew

RE: Word

Whilst waiting for help I discovered the section break and managed to delete the 'secret page' so to have received your confirmation that I had done the right thing was great. Thank you.
