Excel Add picture from desktop

I was wondering how to add pictures from my desktop to my spreadsheet and be able to send it by email. If I use Hyperlink, people can't see the pictures as the pictures are saved in my desktop.

RE: Excel Add picture from desktop

Hi Cathy

Thanks for getting in touch. To put an image on your spreadsheet:

Go to Insert > Picture > From File.

Browse to your desktop, select your image and click OK. Once the picture is inserted you can move, resize and rotate it as you need to.

Kind regards

RE: Excel Add picture from desktop

I have about 15 pictures to add to my spreadsheet and it doesn't look very good. Is there any otherway?

RE: Excel Add picture from desktop

Hi Cathy

Thanks for your reply. When you are choosing files, you can hold the CTRL key down to select multiple images.

In what way do they not look very good?

Kind regards

Excel tip:

Use shortcut keys to select rows or columns

Most users use the mouse to select rows or columns. It may be more convenient to use keyboard shortcuts to do that.

The shortcut key combination to select an entire row is Shift+Spacebar.

The shortcut key combination to select an entire column is Ctrl+Spacebar.

These are pretty easy to remember as the spacebar looks like a long row (or column if you're looking at it sideways). Remember that Ctrl, beginning with C, selects columns and Shift, by a process of elimination, the rows.
