Sum If

I am creating a formula with Sumif, but want to know if I can select more than one column that needs to be added or do i need to have to sets of sumif functions. I camn do a sumif if it is adding just one column

RE: Sum If

Hi Praful

Thanks for getting in touch. The regular SUMIF function can only take one contiguous range.

You have two options, either create a range name for the range (highlight the cells you wish to sum and then under Formulas choose Define Name. Then use this name in your formula), or use the SUMIFS function which can take multiple ranges and multiple criteria.

Kind regards
