Productive time cycle

Does anyone work the complete opposite of the 9-5 day?

RE: Productive time cycle

Hello Mervyn,

Thank you for your question regarding people working the opposite of the 9-5 day.

I would consider the hours of 9pm - 5am, or round abouts, to be the opposite and there are many types of jobs that do require staff to work throughout the night; security guards, receptionists, taxi drivers, some specialist IT roles for example.

I hope this answer is satisfactory but please get back in contact if you have any follow up questions.

Kind regards

Cindy

RE: Productive time cycle

Hi Mervyn

As well as the opposite of 9-5 many people work different patterns. For example 40 hours compacted over 4 rather than 5 days or combinations of shift patterns over a varying number of days.

Did you have a particular role or situation in mind?

Do let us know - kind regards,
Andrew

Microsoft Office tip:

Prevent macros from running when you start Applications

Macros are automated programs that can help you speed up your work. They can be embedded in caommands like AutoExec which will make them run as soon as an application like MS Word or MS Access are launched.
Sometimes it is useful to be able to switch off this function, and then can be done by the following method.
Hold down the SHIFT key when you click on the icon to start the program. This will suppress any automated macros.
